Spring is approaching quickly this year.  We had many exciting events at HBES this

winter and are looking forward to a great spring. Fifth grade had fantastic time at Camp

Bernie and won the "Golden Spoon" award for having zero food waste during the last meal.

We once again had a great Book Fair and Family Reading Night.  Mrs. Mickel and the

PTO worked tirelessly to make this a very special event for everyone at HBES!  Our Fourth

Grade had a busy month with a walking tour of High Bridge and a visit from County

Freeholder Rob Walton.

Next Friday, March 22 will be Crazy Hat Day.  Find a great hat and let's have some

fun!  There will be a Kindergarten Parent Meeting on Tuesday, March 26, at 7:00pm in

the library for incoming Kindergarten families. Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades will participate

in a Hands On Geography interactive assembly on March 27th and 28th.  Incoming

Kindergarten students will have the opportunity to visit on Thrusday, March 28th.  Last,

our Spring Recess will be from Friday, March 29th to Friday April 5th.  School will resume

on Monday, April 8th.
