We look forward to seeing you in September!
As of July 1st, ALL NEW APPLICANTS will be put on a wait list. The classroom must meet a required number of seats in order to open as a full classroom. If the classroom does not meet the required number of seats by July 31st, then the class will not be available and your child's name will be on a waitlist in the order received, until the required class number of seats are reached. If there are more children than seats, a Lottery will be held.
If required seat count is reached on the waitlist, you will be notified by August 6th at 3pm. If at that time, there are more children registered than available seats, a Lottery will be facilitated in the Library of the High Bridge Elementary School. All entrees will be notified of results.
Your child's name will remain on a wait list if not selected for a seat this September 2020. If families choose not to attend the 2020-2021 school year, you will be notified of the available seat in the order of which we received the dated application.
Welcome to our Virtual Preschool Open House Video. We hope you enjoy it and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at 908-638-4512.
High Bridge School District is offering a free full day preschool program for residents of High Bridge ages 3 and 4. The program integrates 3- and 4-year-old students with diverse capabilities five days a week. The program will be instructed by a teacher certified in both general and special education. The class will be supported by a paraprofessional, and the program will follow a state required curriculum. To be eligible your child must turn 3 (or 4) by October 1 of the new school year. If your child meets the age requirements for this coming school year and you have filled out the preregistration form, you will receive an email from us with directions on how to proceed with the required paperwork. If your child does not meet the age requirements for this school year, we will keep your information on file until they are ready to begin preschool.
All school registration requirements must be met, you must provide transportation to and from the program.
Until the Govenor lifts his restrictions, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your child's name and birthday, your phone number, email address and your name and street address. We will then send you a link to register your child.
You will need to provide original documentation for us but during the
state's shutdown we will be accepting pictures of the following:
1. Your child's birth certificate
2. Proof of residence (please see below for details)
