Good Sport Behavior

During every PE class, students are expected to demonstrate positive sport behavior (personal and social responsibility skills) through games and activities.  

(This meets the NJ CCCS 2.5 C.1)

Teaching personal and social responsibility is a more subject specific term in the PE environment.  In order to create a comfortable learning environment, students need to be able to demonstrate personal and social responsibility through words and actions.  When students get mad at missing a catch from another student, blame others for a mistake, or do not follow the activity rules, this effects other in the class.   Everyone may not feel very comfortable moving or participating in class and it is essential and expected for all students to help create this safe environment.
