Welcome back to another exciting school year at High Bridge Elementary School! We hope your summer was relaxing and full of great memories.
We’re happy to introduce our new elementary principal, Mrs. Katherine Franks. While she’s new to our elementary building, she’s no stranger to the district—many of you may know her as the former middle school guidance counselor. Mrs. Franks brings a warm, student-centered approach and is eager to get to know our families.
We also have another exciting announcement!!
Our guidance counselor, Ms. Gulevski, got married over the summer and will now be known as Mrs. Wheeler. Still the same amazing and caring guidance counselor, just with a new name!
Just a few important reminders as we get started:
Genesis Parent Portal will open on August 19. Please log in and complete all required forms to view your child(ren)’s teacher for the upcoming year. From there you can go on to find their teacher's summer welcome letter on our website!
The Topper Tribune will keep you updated weekly with important events and school news, including lunch ordering.
As in previous years, the lunch form will close on Sundays at 6:00 PM. If you miss the cutoff, feel free to email me at lustera@hbschools.org. Visit our website to find more info out about the school lunches

First day of school is Thursday, August 28th
Entrance bell for K-4 is at 8:20. Classes begin at 8:30.
PreK begins at 9:00am.
Thursday 8/29 & Friday 8/30 are early dismissals @ 12:30.
Attendance will provide you with the opportunity to visit you child's teacher and tour the classroom. Preschool students will be able to spend time with peers exploring the classroom with their teacher and paraprofessional.
